Qualifications
Possess a valid Singapore Lifesaving Society Bronze Medallion Lifesaving Certification or an internationally recognized equivalent.
Possess a valid CPR + AED Certification.
Possess a valid First Aid Certification.
Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and teamwork.
Key Roles
Work closely with the management team to ensure smooth and efficient swimming complex operations and support approved activities, including training sessions, sports modules, wellness programmes, and events.
Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and work performance at all times.
Monitor swimmers and pool users to ensure safety and prevent accidents or injuries.
Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and provide First Aid, CPR, and AED assistance when required.
Enforce swimming pool rules and regulations and advise users on safety requirements.
Assist eligible users in gaining access to the swimming complex and verify user eligibility when necessary.
Arrange and maintain pool deck furniture and facilities at the end of each working day.
Operate pool floodlights according to the prescribed schedule.
Inform swimmers of pool closing times and ensure the swimming pool is cleared before closure.
Maintain accurate records, including swimmer headcount, incident reports, corrective actions, recommendations for service improvements, daily observations, and water quality test results.
Conduct daily chlorine and water quality testing and maintain proper records of the results.
