Job Summary

You will independently conduct bunker quantity and quality surveys onboard vessels and bunker tankers, ensuring compliance with MPA regulations and the latest standards. You will lead reporting and resolution of discrepancies, coordinating with key stakeholders to uphold operational integrity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct bunker quantity and quality surveys onboard vessels and bunker tankers independently to ensure accurate measurement and compliance with regulatory standards
• Prepare detailed bunker quantity survey reports that document findings and support operational decision-making
• Identify and report any bunker discrepancies or violations related to quantity and quality, delivering clear recommendations to resolve issues effectively
• Execute bunker surveys in strict adherence to MPA regulations and the latest industry standards to maintain compliance and safety
• Coordinate and liaise proactively with Shipping Agents, Suppliers, and Clients to facilitate smooth on-arrival surveys and timely communication

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess a Diploma in any Marine-related course as foundational knowledge for survey operations
• Hold a bunker surveyor license issued by the Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) to legally perform bunker surveys

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Relevant experience in bunker surveying or related marine operations to enhance survey accuracy and stakeholder engagement
• Proficiency in English and Mother Tongue to ensure effective communication with diverse stakeholders
