Job Summary

You will oversee warehouse and incoming logistics operations, managing inventory, MES systems, production schedules, and ensuring quality and compliance standards are met to support efficient manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and planning to ensure timely, accurate shipment execution
• Conduct inventory and stock checks to maintain stock accuracy and integrity
• Maintain warehouse, materials, equipment, and resources to high standards of housekeeping and safety
• Monitor workflow processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement operational improvements
• Attend and support internal and external audits to ensure compliance
• Generate daily operational reports and maintain essential documentation for traceability
• Ensure all purchased goods and services meet required quality standards
• Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in warehouse and logistics activities

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Holding a Diploma or equivalent in engineering, manufacturing technology or associated fields.

• At least 5 years of warehouse experience within the manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in Netsuite, Oracle, or other ERP/MRP systems for inventory management
• Skilled in inventory management practices
• Proactive and detail-oriented with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of import/export operations to support logistics coordination
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for preparing documentation
• Basic knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO
• Proficiency in English for effective communication
• Understanding of Japanese is an advantage (Note: Japanese language skills are preferred but not essential for core duties)
