Job Opening: Accounts Manager (Senior Level Function) Job Overview & Compensation

• Monthly Salary: S$7,000 to S$9,800 (Monthly)

• Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent

• Location: Office-based (Singapore) with remote project data management

• Experience Level: Senior / Managerial capabilities (Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant)

• Key Softwares: QuickBooks, Xero, and advanced Microsoft Excel

Core Responsibilities

• Full Spectrum Financials: Oversee and manage the complete cycle of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and month-end/year-end closing.

• Project Costing & WIP: Manage construction-specific financial duties, including Work-in-Progress (WIP) tracking, managing progress claims, variations, and subcontractor payment certifications.

• Statutory Compliance: Independently prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, GST submissions, corporate tax filings, and stamp duties.

• Internal Controls: Review, implement, and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs), financial governance, and internal controls for active building sites.

• Leadership: Supervise, review the work of, and mentor junior accounts staff while actively supporting the commercial tendering and contract departments on budgeting.

Requirements & Key Competencies

• Qualifications: A Degree or Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or an equivalent professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA path).

• Industry Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and robust experience navigating the financial realities of the local construction or interior fit-out industry.

• Technical Skill: Highly proficient in deploying cloud accounting software (Xero and QuickBooks) alongside data analysis tools.

• Attributes: Meticulous, detailed-oriented, and capable of operating independently under tight project reporting timelines.
