Requirements

Responsibilities

The Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily front-of-house operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest service and smooth service flow. The role involves supervising service staff, maintaining fine dining standards, and creating a memorable dining experience for guests in a fine dining Indian restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

Floor Operations

  • Supervise and coordinate daily front-of-house operations to ensure efficient and seamless service.
  • Monitor dining room activities and maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation.
  • Ensure all opening, service, and closing procedures are completed according to company standards.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.

Team Leadership

  • Assist in training, coaching, and supervising service staff to maintain exceptional service standards.
  • Conduct pre-service briefings and communicate daily specials, promotions, and operational updates.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to improve productivity and service quality.
  • Support scheduling and manpower planning to ensure adequate staffing levels.

Guest Experience

  • Welcome and engage with guests, ensuring a warm and professional dining experience.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Anticipate guest needs and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
  • Build positive guest relationships to encourage repeat business and loyalty.

Service Excellence

  • Ensure compliance with fine dining service standards and restaurant policies.
  • Monitor food and beverage presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Assist service staff during peak periods to maintain efficient operations.
  • Uphold the restaurant's image, ambiance, and hospitality standards.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and food safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dining environment for guests and staff.
  • Ensure all staff adhere to workplace safety procedures and company policies.
