Job Description

Responsibilities

  • To monitor KPIs and performance metrics associated with final deliveries to stores.
  • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to continuously improve performance
  • Provide strategic recommendations to enhance current systems, processes and practices going forward (mainly on inventory management, besides order and supplier management, and distribution services to support business goals)
  • Manage inventory planning and replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels across total group - warehouse and stores
  • Manage and review the master data parameters in SAP – ie ordering lead time, ordering method, source list, Min Max etc.
  • Manage and handle internal customers’ enquiries, expectation and feedback in a positive and pleasant manner.
  • Improving and reducing wastages throughout the supply chain process.
  • Leading, motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded.
  • Provide sales/stock analysis reports to support management decision-making in inventory management.
  • Assist for departmental issues when necessary or upon absence of Supply Chain Manager.
  • Perform other specific assignments as requested by management


Job Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistic in FMCG or retail industry
  • Excellent communication, strong analytical, detail oriented and resourceful with high degree of initiative
  • Self-motivated, meticulous, able to work independently, inquisitive and committed to drive excellence in line with overall business objective
  • Strong understanding of S&OP, inventory management, demand forecasting, order management and inventory optimization.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership values and the ability to guide, motivate, and develop team members toward achieving organizational goal
  • Ability to work independently under pressure with high adaptability, flexibility and react quickly to changing priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/ Google Suite applications and other system knowledge
  • Experience in operating SAP system would be an added advantage
  • Must be able to work at Bandar Bukit Raja 2, Klang
