SEMICONDUCTOR APPLICATION SPECIALIST TRAINER

Location: Parklane Commercial Center, Jalan Megah Mas, SS 7, 47301 Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Smatrix Consultancy is seeking a highly motivated and industry-experienced Malaysian professional to join our growing Semiconductor Talent Development Division as a Semiconductor Application Specialist Trainer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering industry-oriented training programmes that support Malaysia's National Semiconductor Strategy (NSS), talent development initiatives, and the growing demand for semiconductor design and verification professionals.

Key Responsibilities

1.    Deliver technical training in:

·      RTL Design

·      FPGA Design and Development

·      Verilog and SystemVerilog

·      Functional Verification

·      UVM Methodology

·      Digital IC Design

·      Semiconductor Product Development

·      Embedded Systems

·      Microcontrollers and Digital Electronics

2.    Develop training materials, laboratory exercises, practical projects, assessments for certification programmes.

3.    Conduct professional corporate training programmes, and university-industry upskilling initiatives.

Salary: Competitive remuneration package (open to negotiation) commensurate with qualifications, technical expertise, industry experience, and training capabilities.

Required Qualifications

1.    Malaysian Citizen.

2.    Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or PhD in:

·      Electronics Engineering

·      Electrical Engineering

·      Computer Engineering

·      Microelectronics

·      Semiconductor Engineering

·      Related disciplines

3.    Strong knowledge of:

·      RTL Design

·      FPGA Design Flow

·      Verilog

·      SystemVerilog

·      UVM

·      Functional Verification

·      Digital System Design

·      Timing Analysis

·      Semiconductor Design Methodologies

4.    Hands-on experience with industry-standard EDA tools.

5.    Ability to teach and explain complex semiconductor concepts to learners of varying technical backgrounds.

6.    Familiarity with AI Hardware, Edge AI, VLSI Design, and Semiconductor Manufacturing Ecosystems will be an added advantage.
