Key Responsibilities

* Review and assess loan applications live/in real-time to determine borrower eligibility.

* Verify borrower's income, assets, employment, and credit documents as per investor (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA) guidelines.

* Calculate and validate DTI (Debt-to-Income) and LTV (Loan-to-Value) ratios accurately.

* Identify discrepancies or red flags and ensure compliance with underwriting standards.

* Approve, conditionally approve, or decline loans based on risk analysis.

* Maintain loan quality, accuracy, and compliance with company and regulatory policies.

* Collaborate with processors and loan officers to ensure timely loan closure.

* Meet daily and weekly performance targets while maintaining service levels.

Required Skills

* Proven experience in Live Underwriting / US Mortgage Underwriting.

* Strong knowledge of DU/LP systems and investor guidelines.

* Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.

* 4cs, Income calculation. 

* Ability to work independently and handle live cases efficiently in a remote environment.

* Educational Qualification

* Bachelor's Degree (Any discipline).
