Technical Support Representative

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Joining Date: 20th July 2026

Role Overview

We are seeking Japanese-speaking Technical Support Representatives to join a security software project. The role serves as the first point of contact for customers, handling technical inquiries and delivering high-quality support across multiple channels.

You will be responsible for resolving hardware, software, and service-related issues efficiently while ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Compensation & Benefits

Total Salary: RM 9,500

KPI Allowance: RM 300

Work Schedule

9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Monday to Sunday (2 rest days per week)

Requirements

Diploma or higher education

Minimum 1 year experience handling incoming technical inquiries from consumer customers

Native Japanese proficiency

Experience in technical/customer support environments preferred

Key Responsibilities

1. Respond to customer inquiries via Phone, Email, Chat, and Remote sessions promptly

2. Record all requests, updates, and troubleshooting steps accurately in the CRM system

3. Collect relevant details to understand customer issues effectively

4. Resolve technical issues or fulfill requests at first contact whenever possible

5. Confirm customer eligibility and available service entitlements

6. Provide and explain alternative solutions when needed

7. Use internal knowledge base and documentation for accurate support

8. Escalate complex issues to higher-tier support when necessary

9. Provide customers with updates on ongoing requests

10. Follow up with customers for additional information and ensure proper closure of tickets

11. Use remote access tools to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
