Singapore American School Hiring! Full Time Elementary School Permanent Substitute Instructional Assistant in - Ricebowl

Responsibilities

• The permanent substitute instructional assistant shall provide a backfill for Instructional Assistant absences. Selected candidates will be assigned to support the needs of the elementary school.
• This is a full-time substitute role that will be on campus during all school workdays and shall be willing to commit to a one year contract.
• While most time will be spent substituting in classrooms, permanent substitutes are expected to be adaptable and willing to assist with other assignments or responsibilities, as needed.
  
  

The work schedule is Mon-Fri, 7.30am - 3.15pm.

This permanent substitute instructional assistant position will be paid at a rate of $120/day.

Qualifications

• GCE 'O' Level Certification (minimum 5 'O' with at least a credit in English subject)
• Good verbal and written English
• Comfortable in work environments requiring flexibility in working with diverse colleagues
• Positive work attitude and initiative with the ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively and provide assistance as a part of their work team
• Strong skills and experience with work-related technology applications, ie. Google Suite, Word, Powerpoint, and the interest and ability to learn new applications
