Structural Engineer (Product & Application Specialist)

Working Location Hours

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday (standard office working hours 8:30 am - 5:30 pm with 1 hour lunch break at 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm, flexible start/end times may be considered)
• On-site in our office. Hybrid work options may be offered based on performance

Job Description

We are looking for a structural engineer who is passionate about real-world engineering design challenges and contributing to building innovative engineering software solutions that helps engineers design and analyze real-world projects with confidence.

You will help engineers apply our software to meet engineering codes and regulations, demonstrate / explain structural design and analysis workflows using our software, answer technical questions, handle client challenges professionally, and contribute to the enhancement of existing products, and growth of new products.

You will also collaborate with the product team to explore, test new features, workflows, and products, helping to shape the future of our product offerings.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Application & Best Practices

• Apply structural engineering software for analysis and design in line with codes of practice and standards
• Know how to recommend good, safe engineering practices in accordance with codes of practice and standards
• Interpret and research codes of practice efficiently to support design decisions and client queries
• Understand assumptions, limitations, and governing checks in designs
• Escalate regulatory or judgment-based questions when appropriate

Product & Workflow Communication

• Demonstrate engineering workflows to internal teams and clients
• Explain technical concepts responsibly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Communicate rationale behind recommendations and design choices
• Translate practical engineering insights into suggestions for product improvement

Customer Interaction & Support

• Support product demonstrations and technical discussions with client
• Answer client questions accurately and responsibly, knowing when to escalate
• Build trust by providing reasoned recommendations and code-compliant outputs
• Document client feedback and identify opportunities to enhance product features, or create new products.
• Respond to client questions and conflicts professionally and calmly

Growth & Product Innovation

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop new workflows, features, or products
• Research codes and standards to support project work and product innovation
• Provide engineering insight that informs product roadmaps and strategy
• Test and validate new product concepts from an engineering perspective
• Assist in prototyping or evaluating how new products or modules could be applied in real-world engineering contexts

Learning & Development

• Continuously develop expertise in structural codes, standards, and best practices
• Read, research, and learn independently to deepen engineering and product knowledge
• Contribute to internal guidelines, workflows, and knowledge sharing

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural / Civil Engineering
• Practical structural engineering experience
• Strong calculation, design, and analysis skills; confident in applying engineering codes and standards
• Experience using engineering software in real projects
• Ability to read, interpret, and research codes and standards
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Salary & Benefits
