VIDEOGRAPHER

Responsibilities

Video Production & Filming

· Plan, coordinate, and execute video shoots for mall events, promotions, tenant features, and corporate communications.

· Operate professional video cameras, gimbals, and lighting equipment for indoor and outdoor shoots.

· Capture high-quality footage in various formats including interviews, event coverage, time-lapses, and B-roll.

· Coordinate logistics for shoots including location scouting, equipment setup, and talent/subject briefing.

2. Video Editing & Post-Production

· Edit raw footage into polished video content using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects).

· Perform colour grading, sound mixing, motion graphics, and subtitling as required.

· Produce content in multiple formats optimised for social media platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook) and digital signage.

· Ensure all content meets the mall's brand guidelines in terms of tone, style, and visual identity.

3. Content Strategy & Planning

· Collaborate with the Marketing & Events team to develop content calendars and video production schedules.

· Contribute creative ideas for video campaigns, brand storytelling, and seasonal promotions.

· Assist in conceptualising and storyboarding video projects prior to production.

4. Collaboration & Coordination

· Liaise with tenants, event organizers, and external vendors for video shoot arrangements as needed.

· Work alongside the graphic design and social media teams for integrated campaign delivery.

Requirement

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Film Production, Multimedia, or a related field.

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in videography and video editing, preferably in retail, F&B, hospitality, or mall environments.

• Demonstrated portfolio of video production work across multiple platforms.

• Proficient in video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and/or DaVinci Resolve.

• Experienced in operating DSLR/mirrorless cameras, video rigs, and stabilisers.

• Familiarity with social media content formats, aspect ratios, and platform best practices.

• Basic photography skills for supplementary content capture.

• Creative eye with strong attention to detail and visual storytelling ability.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Good time management with ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Willingness to work on weekends, public holidays, and during mall events as required.

• Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin is an advantage.
