Role Summary

Seeking a senior Network Automation & Reliability Engineer with expertise in network engineering, automation, observability, and reliability to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation solutions across global on-premises, cloud, and hybrid network environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement network automation using Python, Ansible, REST APIs, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Build reusable automation frameworks, libraries, and integrations with GitHub, Terraform, ITSM, and DevOps toolchains.
• Automate network validation, testing, rollback, compliance, and deployment processes.
• Serve as SME for routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, WAN, and hybrid cloud networking.
• Manage and automate security policies across Cisco, Palo Alto, Check Point, AWS, F5, Zscaler, and Symantec environments.
• Develop observability and monitoring solutions using Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, SNMP, NetFlow, sFlow, and streaming telemetry.
• Implement automated testing and resilience tools such as Batfish, NAPALM, and pyATS.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA), troubleshoot complex network issues, and improve reliability through SRE practices (SLIs/SLOs, MTTR, self-healing automation).
• Collaborate with Cloud, Security, DevOps, and Compliance teams while mentoring engineers and driving automation-first best practices.

Primary (Non-Negotiable) Skills & Experienc

• eStrong experience in enterprise network engineering and automation
• .Hands-on expertise with Python and Ansible
• .Experience with REST APIs, Git/GitHub, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines
• .Knowledge of Terraform and integration with DevOps/ITSM platforms
• .Deep understanding of routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, WAN, and hybrid cloud networking
• .Experience with Cisco, Check Point, Palo Alto, F5, AWS, Zscaler, and Symantec technologies
• .Firewall automation and policy management experience
• .Experience with observability tools: Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, SNMP, NetFlow, sFlow
• .Familiarity with network testing/validation tools such as Batfish, NAPALM, and pyATS
• .Strong troubleshooting, incident management, RCA, reliability engineering, and automation governance experience
• .Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
