DSTA Hiring! Full Time Principal Engineer, Infrastructure in - Ricebowl

We are looking for a driven and experienced individual to join the DSTA Chief Information Officer (CIO) office. You will be part of a dynamic team leveraging digital technologies to harness digital technologies to transform, design and implement IT infrastructure to support the delivery of high-quality IT services and drive innovation in IT service management and Cloud Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver secure IT solutions and digital services across client, network, server and cloud infrastructure.
• Translate business requirements to technical solutions, system architecture and network design.
• Plan, design and implement IT infrastructure components, technical solutions and system integration.
• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure and services to ensure high availability and performance.
• Assess, design and implement continuous improvements to IT infrastructure and services to ensure minimal disruption to business processes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices.
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, or managing IT infrastructure and digital services.
• Familiarity with virtualization and container technologies, such as Nutanix, Docker and Kubernetes will be preferred.
• Possesses in-depth specialisations and breadth of experience in implementing or supporting enterprise-level systems.
• Proactive, and self-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Effective communicator with strong writing skills, able to work well in a team and resourceful.
