Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Test Manager (Core Banking) to lead the end-to-end testing lifecycle for our core banking platform transformation and upgrade initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the test strategy, managing defect triage, and ensuring the seamless integration of core banking modules with peripheral downstream/upstream systems.

You will manage a dedicated QA team, collaborate closely with business analysts and vendor partners, and ensure that the delivery meets strict financial compliance, security, and performance benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

1. Test Strategy & Governance

• Define, implement, and maintain the comprehensive Test Strategy and Test Plan for core banking implementations, upgrades, or migrations.
• Establish quality gates, entry/exit criteria, and governance frameworks across all testing phases (ST, SIT, UAT, Performance, and Security).
• Manage risks, issues, and dependencies related to the testing environment, data provisioning, and timelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• ISTQB Advanced Level Certification (Test Manager).
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines in a banking environment.
• Understanding of regional banking regulations and compliance standards (e.g., MAS, RBI, APRA, or local equivalents).
