Job Scope

1) Analyze tender documents, specifications, drawings, and project requirements.

2) Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical and electrical systems, including:

HVAC systems

Electrical power distribution

Lighting systems

Fire protection systems

Plumbing and sanitary systems

ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems

3) Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

4) Perform quantity take-offs from engineering drawings and BIM models.

5) Prepare bills of quantities (BOQ) and cost breakdowns.

6) Identify project risks and opportunities affecting costs.

7) Assist in preparing tender submissions, proposals, and bid documentation.

8) Liaise with engineers, project managers, consultants, suppliers, and clients regarding technical and commercial matters.

9) Maintain estimating databases, cost records, and historical pricing information.

10) Support contract negotiations and project handover after award.

11) Monitor market prices, labor rates, and material cost trends.
