As an IT Outfield Technician, you will be responsible for handling on-site technical support, servicing, and troubleshooting for multifunction printers (MFP) / photocopiers at customer locations.

Your main duties include:

• Perform on-site installation, setup, and troubleshooting for photocopiers/MFP machines.
• Handle machine servicing, maintenance, and repairs (preventive & corrective).
• Conduct machine testing, calibration, and performance checking after servicing.
• Provide technical support for printing, scanning, and network connectivity issues.
• Configure printer drivers, scanning settings, IP address setup, and basic networking.
• Provide customer guidance on proper machine usage and basic troubleshooting.
• Report job updates, service records, and machine condition to supervisor.
• Ensure service quality and maintain good customer relationships.
• Manage spare parts usage and assist in stock/parts monitoring when needed.
• Travel to customer sites within Selangor / Kuala Lumpur based on job assignment.

Job Requirements

• Minimum qualification: SPM / Certificate / Diploma (IT / Engineering / Electrical / Electronics is an advantage).
• Fresh graduates are welcome (training will be provided).
• Experience in photocopier/MFP servicing is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge in:
• Windows PC / laptop setup
• Printer driver installation
• Network printing / IP settings / TCP/IP
• Scanning setup (SMB / Email scan)
• Able to work independently and willing to learn.
• Responsible, punctual, and good attitude.
• Able to communicate well with customers.
• Must have own transport (motorcycle/car) and willing to travel for outfield jobs.
• Possess valid driving license (B2 / D).

Skills Advantage (Good to Have)

• Knowledge in Konica Minolta / Canon / Ricoh / FujiFilm machines.
• Experience handling meter reading, parts replacement & toner issues.
• Experience in troubleshooting paper jam, lines, print quality issues.
• Basic networking knowledge (router, switch, LAN setup).

Working Hours

Monday – Friday: 8.30am – 6.00pm
Saturday: 8.30am – 1.00pm
