Job Description - Account Executtive
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain full set of accounting records and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
- Prepare and issue invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and official receipts.
- Process supplier invoices and prepare supplier payments, including payment vouchers, cheques, and online bank transfers.
- Reconcile supplier statements, customer accounts, bank accounts, and general ledger balances.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up when necessary.
- Assist in cash flow monitoring and preparation of payment schedules.
- Prepare monthly accounting schedules, management reports, and supporting documents.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate and support external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and relevant authorities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain proper filing and safekeeping of accounting and financial documents.
- Assist in inventory reconciliation, stock count exercises, and cost-related analysis when required.
- Perform any other accounting, finance, or administrative duties as assigned by Management from time to time.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
