We are looking for a hands-on Cook to support daily kitchen operations and ensure consistent, high-quality food execution.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook café menu items including:
Desserts (cakes plating, waffles, plated desserts)
Brunch items
Follow SOPs to ensure consistency in taste and presentation
Perform daily food preparation (cutting, portioning, mise en place)
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards (SFA compliance)
Assist in stock control and minimize wastage
Support new menu testing and product improvements
Work closely with front-of-house team to ensure smooth service
Requirements
Experience in café / kitchen / dessert / western cuisine preferred
Entry-level candidates with good attitude are welcome
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsible and detail-oriented
Comfortable working weekends and public holidays
Preferred (Good to Have)
Experience in dessert / baking / brunch kitchen
Good plating sense (aesthetics matters)
Experience in structured kitchen operations
