SOGO Malaysia Hiring! Full Time SUPERVISOR (Maintenance - Electrical Dept) in Selangor, Earn up to MYR 2,500 - Ricebowl

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the maintenance team, supervise subordinates, and oversee the department’s daily operations.

- Provide clear direction, instructions, and guidance to subordinates while delegating tasks effectively.

- Ensure all wiring works are carried out properly in compliance with Electrical Regulations. Coordinate and supervise works carried out by contractors.

- Ensure all maintenance, repair, and installation works are completed properly and according to schedule.

- Maintain proper records of daily maintenance and electrical works. Ensure all tools, appliances, and equipment are kept in good condition to minimize damage or losses. Maintain proper stock control to ensure sufficient supplies for department use.

- Identify maintenance issues and propose improvements.

- Carry out and maintain minor plumbing repairs when necessary.

- Attend to breakdowns and emergency cases in a timely manner.

Requirement:

- Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in Electrical or equivalent qualification with a minimum PW2 Wiring Competency Certificate.

- Minimum 2 years of working experience in a related field, including team management experience.

- Experience in electrical, plumbing, and general repair works (handyman skills) will be an added advantage.

- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

- Independent, reliable, and possess high integrity with good leadership and problem-solving skills.

- Willing to work retail hours, shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
