Job Overview:

• Location: KYM Tower, Mutiara Damansara
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Working Hours: RM2,500 – RM2,700 per month

Job description:

• Assist in preparing and cooking food according to recipes and kitchen standards.
• Prepare ingredients such as cutting, chopping, portioning, and storing food items.
• Ensure food is prepared and presented according to quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, workstations, and equipment.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock and ingredients.
• Support senior chefs and kitchen team during daily operations.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of kitchen experience preferred.
• Culinary school graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knife skills and knowledge of cooking techniques.
• Passionate about food and willing to learn.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Punctual, responsible, and hardworking.
• Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
