Responsibilities

Manager, Compliance (Trust)


Lead trust compliance and AML/CFT framework across Singapore trust structures, ensuring trusted fiduciary service and regulatory excellence.


Key responsibilities

  • Oversee compliance for all trust portfolios, including trusts, PTCs and related entities, ensuring alignment with MAS, AML/CFT, FATCA/CRS and fiduciary requirements.
  • Run trust compliance reviews, periodic/trigger reviews, and client risk assessments; manage KYC/CDD/EDD and ongoing monitoring for trust clients.
  • Develop and maintain trust-specific compliance policies, controls and monitoring programs, and embed compliance into new products and client onboarding.
  • Lead regulatory/audit interactions: act as senior contact for MAS, auditors and other stakeholders; handle inspections, reporting and remediation.
  • Deliver compliance training and awareness for trust administration, business and management teams, reinforcing ethics and fiduciary responsibility.
  • Provide regular compliance and risk reports to senior management/Board, highlighting key risks, incidents and thematic findings.
  • Promote a strong culture of integrity, ethics and fiduciary duty across the trust function.


Requirements

  • 8–10+ years compliance experience in a trust company, TCSP, private bank or wealth management, with strong exposure to trust structures and fiduciary services.
  • Deep knowledge of Singapore trust/TCSP regulations (MAS AML/CFT, sanctions, FATCA/CRS, beneficial ownership, tax transparency).
  • Proven track record in trust account reviews, client risk assessments, AML/CFT monitoring and advising front-line trust teams.
  • Experience liaising with regulators/auditors, preparing reports, handling inspections and addressing audit findings.
  • Professional compliance/AML/trust qualification (ICA, ACAMS, STEP, etc.) preferred, plus a relevant degree.
  • Strong judgement, communication and stakeholder management; able to balance commercial and regulatory priorities.
