Takaful Ikhlas Berhad is renamed to Takaful Ikhlas Family Berhad (Takaful IKHLAS Family) and manages the family takaful business. Its general takaful business is being managed by a new entity, Takaful Ikhlas General Berhad (Takaful IKHLAS General).

Takaful IKHLAS offers a comprehensive range of family and general takaful products. Its distribution channels comprise of highly knowledgeable and well-trained agents, brokers, financial institutions, motor franchise holders and cooperatives. Takaful IKHLAS has 13 branch offices and currently records around 2 million registered certificate (policy) holders and more than 5,000 agents.

Both Takaful IKHLAS Family and Takaful IKHLAS General are wholly owned subsidiaries of MNRB Holdings Berhad.

JOB PURPOSE

1. Handle request from various business channels related to pricing – pricing support, UAT, negotiations, ad-hoc project, products’ sales campaigns and others
2. To engage and negotiate with retakaful operator to support the business
3. To lead the implementation of projects related to actuarial, regulatory and risk management functions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the end-to-end process of new / repricing product from technical product development through to system implementation, including the necessary approval processes while ensuring it adhere to the Policies such as Pricing Policy, Risk Appetite Statement, BNM and others.
• Providing support in developing the product strategy including the product roadmap, as aligned with the customer proposition
• Effectively communicate pricing outcome and key sensitivities to the relevant stakeholders
• Proactively and regularly improve the product pricing process through automation and reconciliation with valuation model.
• Ensure products are administered correctly in the system via robust User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Support system issues related to pricing
• Support distribution channels on all product related matters eg. Product roll out, training, calculators, sales collaterals, and others.
• Drive and lead ad-hoc projects
• Assist and be involved in data analytics tasks in order to support business decision
• Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational, regulatory and other requirements
