We are looking for a detail-oriented General Insurance Operations Executive to support daily insurance operations, including policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, receipting, documentation, and customer/internal enquiries. The role requires good administrative accuracy, basic insurance operations knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle issuance of new business, renewal, endorsement, and cancellation transactions for General Insurance policies.
- Perform receipting and payment-related processing for General Insurance transactions.
- Ensure policy documents are accurate, complete, and issued within required service standards.
- Manage policy documentation, filing, and other administrative tasks.
- Support customer care, intermediaries, and internal teams by responding to email and phone enquiries.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all operational tasks are completed in line with company procedures.
- Assist in system enhancement activities and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) when required.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve policy or documentation issues.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the manager or department.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Higher Diploma / Graduate Diploma in any field.
- At least 1 years of working experience in insurance operations, policy servicing, administration, or a related field.
- Experience in General Insurance is preferred.
- Knowledge of AS400 system will be an added advantage.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Able to work in a fast-paced and diverse working environment.
