Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform daily accounting tasks including data entry, document filing, and the maintenance and updating of accurate accounting records in a timely manner.
  • Maintain customer data and filing.
  • Assist and update accounts receivable, perform follow-ups on outstanding payments, and provide regular collection status updates.
  • Perform credit control functions by monitoring customer credit limits, conducting CTOS checks to assess creditworthiness, and ensuring timely collection of payments to minimize credit risk.
  • Assist in managing petty cash, including the preparation of petty cash reports, processing reimbursements, and verifying staff claims.
  • Prepare and send monthly Statements of Account (SOA) to customers and related companies, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Support month-end closing activities and other basic accounting tasks as needed.
  • Provide assistance in internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and supporting schedules.
  • Maintain proper documentation and systematic filing for all financial records in compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the management from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Experience in manufacturing industry would be a value-added point.
  • All tasks will be properly guided by seniors and superior, however, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, mature, and results-oriented is required.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to start immediately.

Supplemental Pay:

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
