Orient Overseas Container Line Hiring! Full Time Technical Analyst (Cloud Engineering) in New Territories, Hong Kong - Ricebowl

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with application development, system team and infrastructure team to develop DevOps tools, framework solution, monitoring solution and cloud platform management solution

• Research new technologies, techniques, and 3rd party frameworks to benefit the automation, application development and cloud platform management

• Develop and enforce best practices and policies for application deployment and cloud infrastructure maintenance

• Improve reliability, availability, and performance of the highly scaling cloud systems with recovery automation

• Monitor the systems, infrastructure, and cloud services to ensure their high availability and quality

• Provide professional IT ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related disciplines

• Familiar with Java, Nodejs, Python at least one programming language and popular open-source frameworks

• At least 2 years’ experience in developing or using DevOps tools and CI/CD pipeline, Cloud experience, preferably in Azure/AliCloud

• Experience with Container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Rancher, AKS, ACK etc…)

• Experience in RabbitMQ is an advantage

• Knowledge with Service Mesh technologies (e.g. Istio), big data technologies, cloud native application design and cloud management skills is a plus

• A good team player with sound analytical and problem-solving skills, willing to take challenges

• Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills

• Good command of spoken and written English and Putonghua is an advantage

• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Junior positions
