We are seeking a proactive full-time engineer (fresh graduate / 1–3 years relevant experience) to join our data center infrastructure project team in Hong Kong. The role focuses on IDC electrical systems, power electronics, communication systems, automation, and energy management for large-scale data center and energy infrastructure projects.

The engineer will closely collaborate with internal project teams, external consultants, vendors, suppliers, and contractors to deliver technical document review, engineering coordination, market research, cross-party communication, and end-to-end project execution support.

This position is ideal for young engineering professionals who aim to build long-term careers in data center infrastructure, electrical power systems, power electronics, intelligent communication systems, and renewable energy project development.

• Conduct technical support for IDC electrical systems, including power distribution system design review, electrical equipment verification, backup power system deployment, UPS, diesel generator configuration, and energy efficiency analysis.

• Carry out technical research and engineering support for power electronics systems, covering UPS, converters, inverters, energy storage PCS, power supply systems, HVDC and related power electronic equipment.

• Manage communication and automation system tasks, including weak-current system coordination, monitoring platform debugging, IoT & smart sensor integration, BMS/EMS system docking, data statistics and technical interface management.

• Review, organize, summarize and archive engineering technical documents, construction drawings, technical specifications, official reports, supplier technical submissions and all project-related materials.

• Compile technical comparison sheets, project summaries, meeting minutes, technical presentations and standardized project coordination documents.

• Conduct daily English communication and technical alignment with overseas teams, international consultants, vendors and contractors.

• Support energy management research and analysis, including power consumption assessment, energy efficiency optimization, renewable energy application, green power procurement, PPA project research, electricity market trend analysis and demand response mechanism study.

• Participate in project procurement technical clarification, tender document preparation, vendor technical negotiation, construction coordination and on-site project execution support.

• Conduct industry market research on data center infrastructure, power equipment, communication systems, energy storage technology, renewable energy solutions and Hong Kong & Asia electricity market dynamics.

• Complete other engineering and project delivery tasks assigned by the project management and engineering team.

• Bachelor or Master graduate in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Automation, Power Electronics, Power System Engineering, Communication Engineering, Energy Engineering, Automation, Electronic Information or related engineering disciplines.

• Fresh graduate or 1–3 years of relevant engineering / infrastructure / energy / electrical project experience.

• Solid English capability for technical document reading, business email writing, meeting communication and cross-border technical alignment.

• Strong passion for data center infrastructure, electrical power systems, power electronics, intelligent communication systems, automation control and energy management business.

• Basic professional knowledge of power distribution systems, power electronics equipment, renewable energy, energy storage systems or electricity market operation is preferred.

• Proficiency in office tools (Excel / PowerPoint); basic familiarity with AutoCAD, MATLAB, Python, Power BI or other engineering data analysis tools is a plus.

• Quick learning capability, detail-oriented, logical thinking, and able to independently undertake technical sorting, research analysis, vendor communication and project coordination work.

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, adaptable to multicultural and international project working environments.

• Candidates with valid Hong Kong work visa or legal right to work in Hong Kong are highly preferred.

Candidates with background or practical exposure in the following fields will be prioritized:

• Data center electrical system design, construction or operation experience

• Power distribution equipment, low/medium voltage system and backup power system (UPS/generator) experience

• Practical understanding of power electronics equipment such as converters, inverters, rectifiers, PCS and HVDC systems

• Weak-current system, communication infrastructure, IoT monitoring system, BMS/EMS project experience

• Renewable energy, solar PV, energy storage system and green energy project experience

• Familiarity with electricity market rules, green power procurement, PPA transaction, demand response and energy efficiency optimization

• Engineering research, technical due diligence, tender support, procurement coordination or infrastructure project delivery experience
