Responsibilities

• Event Planning & Execution — Conceptualise, plan, and deliver a calendar of events and activations (seasonal, lifestyle, trade, community) that attract consistent and growing footfall to CityWalk.
• Footfall Growth — Develop and implement strategies to increase visitor traffic to CityWalk, including partnerships with brands, influencers, media, and community groups.
• Retail Leasing Support — Leverage events to generate awareness and interest in CityWalk's available retail units; coordinate with the leasing team to convert event attendees and exhibitors into prospective tenants.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Management — Source, negotiate, and manage event vendors, contractors, sponsors, and partners to deliver cost-effective, high-quality activations.
• Budget Management — Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources while maximising ROI and visitor experience.
• Marketing & Promotions Coordination — Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events across digital, social, and on-ground channels to maximise reach and attendance.
• Post-Event Reporting — Analyse event performance through footfall data, leads generated, and tenant enquiries; prepare post-event reports with insights and recommendations.
• Compliance & Safety — Ensure all events comply with local authority regulations, venue guidelines, and health & safety requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in event management, preferably within retail malls, property development, hospitality, or real estate environments
• Proven experience in planning and executing mid-to-large scale events or activations that drive measurable footfall or business outcomes
• Experience working with or supporting leasing, sales, or commercial teams is an added advantage
• Knowledge of leasing management systems
• Basic graphic design or content creation skills (e.g. Canva)
• Knowledge of local council permits and event licensing processes in Selangor/Shah Alam
• Strong industry network within retail, F&B, or lifestyle sectors
• Passion for community building and place-making

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
