Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry: Enter financial transactions into accounting software or spreadsheets accurately and timely.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records.
  • Expense Tracking: Monitor and record expenses, ensuring they are properly documented and categorized.
  • Customer Service: Respond to inquiries from boss, auditor, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Support: Provide support to the accounting team and assist with other administrative tasks as required.
  • Answering telephone calls and emails and redirecting them to other employees when appropriate
  • Issuing invoices and following up outstanding payments
  • Taking dictations and minutes during meetings
  • Making travel arrangements for other company employees’ business trips
  • Monitoring office supplies and reporting when stock levels are low to office manager

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an accounting or clerical role is desirable. Fresh graduate are welcome.

Skills:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL Accounting System, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheet).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Problem solving mindset.

Working Conditions:

- Work Environment: Office setting with standard business hours (9am - 6pm) Monday to Friday. Saturday(9am-1pm) Alternate.
- Physical Requirements: Mostly sedentary work with occasional need for lifting or moving office supplies.
