We are seeking a results-driven Key Account Manager (Project Sales) to manage and grow our corporate office furniture project sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing qualified sales opportunities generated by the lead generation team, understanding client requirements, developing tailored solutions, preparing proposals and quotations, negotiating with stakeholders, and closing projects.
This role focuses on B2B project sales, working closely with internal teams including design, operations, and after-sales support to ensure smooth project execution and long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities1. Project Sales & Business Development
- Manage qualified leads and sales opportunities provided by the internal lead generation team.
- Engage with corporate clients, developers, contractors, designers, and other project stakeholders to understand their office furniture requirements.
- Identify client needs and recommend suitable furniture solutions based on budget, functionality, design, and project requirements.
- Drive the full sales cycle from initial consultation to project closure.
2. Client Consultation & Solution Selling
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, and project discussions to gather requirements.
- Work with internal teams to develop customized furniture solutions and layouts that meet client expectations.
- Provide product presentations and solution proposals to clients.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
3. Proposal, Quotation & Negotiation
- Prepare professional sales proposals, quotations, and commercial documents.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure pricing, product specifications, and timelines are accurate.
- Present proposals and negotiate commercial terms with clients.
- Manage objections, resolve concerns, and drive successful deal closure.
4. Project Management Coordination
- Work closely with the project execution and after-sales teams to ensure smooth handover after sales closure.
- Ensure client expectations are properly communicated regarding delivery schedules, installation, and project requirements.
- Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Account Management & Relationship Building
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing corporate clients.
- Identify opportunities for repeat business, expansion projects, and long-term partnerships.
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned key accounts.
6. Sales Reporting & Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline records and update CRM systems.
- Track project opportunities, sales forecasts, and expected closing timelines.
- Provide regular sales updates and reports to management.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Interior Design, or related fields preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in B2B project sales, corporate sales, or solution sales.
- Experience in the office furniture, workspace solutions, interior fit-out, construction, or related industries is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of managing sales cycles and closing projects.
- Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into suitable solutions.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Good business acumen with the ability to manage commercial discussions.
- Able to prepare sales proposals, quotations, and presentations.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
