Senior IT Officer

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining and managing all aspects of IT network infrastructure and operations (PC/device, servers, networks, software/hardware troubleshooting)

• Manage network administration and maintenance (TCP/IP, VPN, Firewall, Switch, Antivirus, etc.)

• Manage Windows servers (routine administration, patching, account management, etc.)

• Oversee data backup, user access controls and BCP/DR strategy (with regular disaster recovery drills)

• Perform daily monitoring and support for securities and futures trading to ensure smooth operations and availability of critical trading systems (HK/US equities and futures)

• Follow up on, track and document daily production issues, user requests, incident handling and reporting (Incident Management)

• Collaborate with internal teams, external suppliers, vendors and users in system testing, UAT, production deployment and project implementation

• Provide technical support to customers

• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines

• 3 years of solid hands-on experience in system administration and networking within brokerage firm is highly preferred

• Familiar with Windows Server / Cloud management / Networking and troubleshooting skills

• Fluent in spoken Cantonese and Mandarin; good command of written and spoken English

• Good problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and under pressure, team-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility

• Candidates with securities brokerage experience will be given priority
