【The Role】

You are the primary technical contact for our managed service clients. You bridge the gap between clients and our engineering team — understanding each client's business context, technical architecture, and operational needs so the right things get done at the right time.

You will not be expected to perform hands-on engineering. Our cloud engineers, solutions architects, and domain specialists handle implementation. Your job is to know the client's environment deeply, coordinate the right resources, and drive continuous improvement.

As a senior member of the team, you will also mentor junior TAMs and service delivery specialists — helping them develop client management skills, technical depth, and operational maturity.

【Key Responsibilities】

  • Own the client relationship as the primary technical point of contact

  • Lead client onboarding — present service baseline, conduct workload discovery, define monitoring scope

  • Maintain deep understanding of each client's architecture, business context, and operational patterns

  • Review monitoring dashboards regularly, identify issues proactively, and drive resolution before clients notice

  • Coordinate engineers, architects, and specialists to deliver on change requests and incident response

  • Chair regular service review meetings, walk through reports and recommendations with clients

  • Lead incident coordination — manage communication, escalation, and post-incident root cause analysis

  • Identify gaps against best practices — Well-Architected Frameworks (AWS, Azure), CIS benchmarks — and recommend improvements

  • Maintain client documentation — architecture diagrams, runbooks, decision history, and client profiles

  • Identify client needs that could benefit from additional services or architectural improvements

  • Mentor junior TAMs and service delivery specialists on client engagement, technical knowledge, and operational best practices

【Requirements】

  • 5 years+ experience in client-facing technical roles within managed services, consulting, or IT operations Strong working knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture concepts

  • Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to both technical teams and executives

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Science, Engineering, or relevant field

  • Demonstrated ability to use AI agents (e.g. coding assistants, workflow automation, research tools) in day-to-day work — personal or professional context

【Preferred Requirements】

  • Experience with Azure or GCP in addition to AWS

  • Working experience in enterprise environments with full ITSM practice, particularly change management (CAB process, change planning, risk assessment, post-implementation review) and incident management

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer – Associate, ITIL v4 Foundation, or Project Management Certifications — candidates without current certifications are supported to obtain them on the job

  • Demonstrated ability to use AI agents (e.g. coding assistants, workflow automation, research tools) in day-to-day work — personal or professional context
