DB2 DBA (Application Support)

Singapore | 5+ Years Experience

We are looking for an experienced DB2 DBA to support mission-critical applications and databases across DEV, UAT, and Production environments.

Responsibilities

• Review and optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot database issues, SQL errors, and performance bottlenecks.
• Support database deployments, migrations, and releases.
• Perform database tuning, statistics updates, and tablespace maintenance.
• Collaborate with application teams on database design and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of DB2 DBA experience.
• Strong SQL tuning and performance optimization skills.
• Experience supporting application databases in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of database backup, recovery, and migration processes.
• Experience with JCL, VSAM, and Mainframe DB2 is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
