Responsibilities

Core Job Functions

  • End-User Support & Troubleshooting: Act as the primary point of contact for internal technical tickets. Image, configure, and deploy workstations (Windows) and provision user accounts during onboarding and offboarding.
  • IT Infrastructure & Security: Monitor office Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and shared hardware. Execute data backups, enforce company IT policies, and manage software security patch deployment.
  • Asset & Vendor Management: Maintain an accurate ledger of physical hardware assets. Track software licenses and vendor contract renewals (e.g., Microsoft 365, printers) and serve as the main liaison with ISPs and third-party IT suppliers.
  • Training & Administration: Create clear, step-by-step IT troubleshooting guides and maintain documentation of system configurations to foster employee self-service.

Key Performance Accountabilities

  • Technical Support & End-User Experience: Total ownership of the internal helpdesk system, ensuring all technical issues are properly logged, prioritized, and resolved efficiently to minimize operational downtime.
  • Infrastructure Reliability & Continuity: Ensuring maximum uptime for office networks, internet access, and shared systems, along with the regular verification and execution of business continuity backup protocols.
  • Security & Compliance Enforcement: Strict assurance that all employee endpoints are updated, system access permissions are audited based on job roles, and staff strictly adhere to corporate cybersecurity best practices.
  • Asset & Spend Optimization: Meticulous oversight of tech inventories and SaaS subscriptions to prevent unexpected service lapses, optimize license usage, and manage external vendor service-level agreements (SLAs).

Minimum Qualification Requirements

  • Experience: 10–12 years of hands-on experience in IT support, infrastructure, or system administration roles
  • Education: Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology is required.
  • Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or foundational Microsoft administration certifications are highly valued.
  • Technical Skills: Proven proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Windows 10/11; basic administrative experience with identity management (e.g., Entra ID, Active Directory), experience with PBX / VoIP systems, printers and peripheral infrastructure, basic networking (firewalls, switches, VPNs)
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; a methodical, calm approach to troubleshooting; and the verified ability to operate independently without daily technical supervision.
