Roles & Responsibilities
Project Planning & Development
- Assist in the evaluation and feasibility studies of potential development projects, including market research, financial analysis, and development potential assessment.
- Participate in the preparation of development concepts, project briefs, master development plans, and project implementation strategies.
- Coordinate project planning activities and support the preparation of project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and development schedules.
Development Approval & Regulatory Compliance
- Coordinate with consultants and relevant local authorities for planning approvals, development orders, building plans, permits, licenses, and statutory submissions.
- Monitor approval processes and follow up with authorities to ensure timely approvals.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, development requirements, and statutory obligations throughout the project lifecycle.
Consultant & Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, planners, surveyors, legal advisors, and other consultants regarding project requirements and deliverables.
- Coordinate project meetings and maintain records of discussions, decisions, and action items.
- Facilitate communication between internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Project Monitoring & Implementation
- Monitor project progress, milestones, timelines, and budgets.
- Identify project risks, delays, or issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Assist in tracking project performance and ensuring project objectives are achieved.
Land Acquisition & Due Diligence
- Support land acquisition activities, including site evaluation, due diligence, market assessment, and preliminary development studies.
- Assist in coordinating legal, planning, technical, and commercial due diligence exercises.
- Compile and analyze information required for land acquisition proposals.
Financial & Commercial Analysis
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis for proposed developments.
- Assist in preparing development appraisals, project viability studies, and investment analyses.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditure against approved allocations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Real Estate Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering or related disciplines.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project development and management, real estate, architecture, consultancy, or construction-related fields.
- Familiarity with local planning regulations, authority submission procedures, and development approval processes.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, project implementation, and property development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and project management software is an added advantage.
- Good project coordination, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
- Willing to travel and conduct site visits when required.
