· Interprets and reviews for any appropriateness before charging, preparing and dispensing any medications to patients.

· Ensures all computer data entries are done correctly and report to Pharmacy Manager if there are any discrepancies.

· Counsels patients in their medication therapy (including bedside dispensing).

· Ensures cleanliness of the pharmacy and work counters.

· Prepares and supplies all medications to outpatients, inpatients, wards and other departments as required.

· Ensures sufficient stocks are available in pharmacy and inform the person-in-charge to purchase/order drugs supply and other supplies (e.g. consumables, stationeries etc.) and to ensure that no disruption of supply takes place due to shortage.

· Checks the labels of all containers in order to ensure that labels are clear and contain all the necessary information.

· To be responsible for medications under Patient Assistance Program, as assigned by their superior.

· Informs the Pharmacy Manager of any new drug request or of any abnormality in prescriptions encountered.

· Ensures that no substitution of any single prescribed drug is made without the approval of the Consultant and Pharmacy Manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,800.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Petaling Jaya: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• Pharmacist: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

• English (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Pharma (Preferred)
