RESPONSIBILITIES:-

• Assist in preparing and processing Purchase Orders (POs) to suppliers accurately and on time.
• Monitor stock levels and support inventory replenishment activities to ensure product availability.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding quotations, deliveries, product availability, and purchase-related matters.
• Support price comparisons, cost analysis, and negotiation activities to achieve cost savings and improve procurement efficiency.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly purchasing and inventory reports for management review.
• Work closely with Sales, Warehouse, Logistics, and other departments to ensure adequate stock support for business operations.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier databases, and procurement documentation.
• Monitor market trends, product developments, and pricing movements to support purchasing decisions.
• Participate in stock counts, inventory audits, and process improvement initiatives.
• Learn and understand company procurement policies, inventory control procedures, and supply chain operations.
• Undertake departmental projects, cross-functional assignments, and other duties assigned by management as part of the management development program.
• The Management Trainee – Purchasing will undergo structured training and development to gain a comprehensive understanding of procurement, inventory management, supplier coordination, and supply chain operations. The successful candidate will support the Purchasing Department in ensuring timely procurement of goods, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and achieving cost-effective purchasing strategies.

REQUIREMENTS:-

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Purchasing, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Good communication skills with the ability to express ideas clearly in both individual and group settings
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Positive working attitude, self-motivated, energetic, and eager to learn
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Kota Kemuning

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
