Position: Jr. Quantity Surveyor
Location: One South, opposite MRT station near Sungai Besi toll

We are currently seeking a meticulous and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Management
- Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BQ) for projects.
- Support the preparation of cost analysis and cost reports during project execution.
- Monitor project costs and maintain records of expenditures.
- Assist in obtaining and comparing quotations from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Help ensure project costs remain within approved budgets.
Tender & Contract Administration
- Assist in preparing tender documents and compiling tender submissions.
- Support the tender evaluation process by collecting and analyzing quotations.
- Maintain records of contracts, variations, and project-related documentation.
- Assist in preparing contractor payment recommendations and progress claim evaluations.
Procurement Support
- Source quotations for materials, equipment, and services as required.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Assist in preparing purchase requisitions and procurement documentation.
Valuation & Reporting
- Assist in measuring work completed on-site and preparing valuation reports.
- Support the preparation of interim payment certificates and final accounts.
- Maintain accurate project cost records and documentation.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and cost summaries for management review.
Risk & Compliance
- Ensure all project documentation complies with company procedures and project requirements.
- Assist in identifying potential cost-related issues and report them to senior team members.
- Support compliance with contractual requirements, regulations, and company policies.
Project Coordination
- Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, designers, and contractors to support project delivery.
- Attend site visits and meetings to monitor project progress and gather relevant information.
- Assist in tracking project variations, claims, and cost implications.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Possesses at least of Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management.
- Proven experience atleast 1 year of Quantity Surveyor
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in relevant software.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage supplier and contractor relationships effectively.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
