Our client in the financial services industry is seeking an Angular Frontend Tech Lead to drive the development of high-quality web applications while leading and mentoring a frontend development team. This role offers the opportunity to combine hands-on Angular development with technical leadership responsibilities in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience building Angular applications in production environments
- Strong experience with Angular 15 and above
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience leading, mentoring or guiding frontend development teams
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and asynchronous services
- Familiarity with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Gulp or Grunt
- Experience using Git version control systems
- Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Mocha or Jest is an advantage
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Responsibilities
- Develop frontend solutions and user interfaces based on business requirements
- Lead, manage and mentor the frontend development team
- Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers and QA teams to deliver responsive applications
- Implement responsive designs across devices, browsers and screen sizes
- Write clean, maintainable and scalable code following development best practices
- Optimise application performance, speed and responsiveness
- Conduct testing to ensure reliability and usability
- Stay updated on Angular and frontend development trends
- Work closely with QA teams to identify and resolve defects
- Implement unit testing practices to improve software quality
- Participate in code reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Promote coding standards, best practices and frontend development excellence
