Job Summary:

Establish the manufacturing process while driving yield, quality, and scrap reduction improvement to achieve lower manufacturing costs and higher manufacturing excellence. Developing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining efficient manufacturing processes and workflow for the products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drive continuous process, yield & quality improvement projects.

2. Drives cost reduction programs related to process or process material

3. Buy-off and qualify new machine models and define workmanship criteria.

4. Evaluate and qualify new materials, designs, and processes as required.

5. Participate in qualification/sample builds and trial runs of new products.

6. Conduct capability studies of processes, manufacturing equipment, and tools.

7. Analyze and identify the root cause of customer return units and derive corrective and preventive measures

8. Involved in the machine, fixture, and tool validation process before use in production.

9. Qualify, monitor, and control MEMS microphone processes and methods as required.

10. Controls process-related documents, including manufacturing specifications, FMEA, Control plans, and OCAP.

11. Provide technical support to customers when required.

12. Train, coach, and guide technicians and operators as required.

13. Any other job responsibilities the supervisor assigns as and when required.

14. Establishing and maintaining procedures consistent with QMS, EMS, and OSH Management Systems/ Standards certification.

Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or Applied Science

• 2+ years of previous working experience in semiconductor equipment or has undergone relevant training.

• Knowledge of CP, FMEA, OCAP, SPC, and 8D Problem-Solving Reporting Methods is required

• Experience with Minitab, 6 Sigma, DOE, and ESD knowledge is an added advantage
