Grow Your Career With Us! Established in 1986, Taclico Company Sdn. Bhd. is a well-rooted palm oil milling company based in Padang Serai, Kedah. Due to operational expansion, we are looking for driven, hands-on engineers to join our team.

As a Mill Engineer, you will gain hands-on experience in the overall operation of a palm oil mill. If you want to be groomed into a Senior Engineer in the palm oil industry, this rare opportunity is for you! We provide structured shift rotations and direct mentorship from our Mill Manager.

1. Mill Process

   • Optimize Production: Manage and monitor end-to-end milling (FFB grading, sterilization, pressing, clarification, kernel recovery) to maximize extraction rates (OER & KER) and minimize losses.

   • Troubleshoot Losses: Review daily lab reports (effluent, press cake, EFB) and implement immediate floor action plans to reduce losses.

   • Workplace Safety: Enforce strict adherence to workplace safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

   • Utility Coordination: Monitor boiler operations to maintain steady steam pressure for fruit sterilization.

2. Mill Maintenance

   • Minimize Downtime: Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules to reduce machine failures.

3. Compliance

   • Ensure mill compliance to regulatory requirements (eg., DOE, DOSH, MPOB, etc.).

   • Ensure compliance to MSPO standards and other sustainability requirements as requested by stakeholders.

4. Reporting Line

   • Report directly to the Mill Manager.

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering.

• Language: Professional proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English to handle regulatory paperwork and communicate across management and floor operators.

• Experience: 1-2 years in a palm oil mill or heavy industry is an advantage.

• Fresh Graduate: Welcome to join as a Cadet Engineer with full training provided.
