Key Responsibilities:

Welding Operations & Leadership

• Lead daily operations: Assign tasks to the welding team and effectively manage shifts to hit manufacturing deadlines.

Quality Control

• Inspection: Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of completed welds to ensure strong, clean joints free of defects (cracks, porosity, undercut).
• Problem Solving: Identify the root causes of welding defects and implement immediate corrective actions to minimize waste and rework.

Equipment Handling

• Maintenance: Oversee the preventative maintenance and calibration schedules for all manual welding machines, tools, and robotic welders.

Safety & Housekeeping

• Enforce Compliance: Enforce a zero-tolerance policy for safety violations. Ensure all team members strictly wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and use flash screens/ventilation.

Requirements:

• Experience: 5 years of experience in welding, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in various welding processes and familiarity with robotic welding programming/maintenance is a plus.
• Inspection Skills: Strong eye for detail with experience in visual and dimensional weld inspection.
• Safety First: Deep understanding of OSHA regulations, PPE requirements, and 5S principles.
• Leadership: Excellent communication, mentoring, and conflict-resolution skills.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
