About the role

Sudut Swasta Sdn Bhd is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Intern – Assist Project Manager/Engineer to join our Engineering Project Management team. This is a full-time internship position based in Puchong, Selangor, offering an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in project management and engineering whilst working alongside experienced professionals. In this role, you will provide essential support to our project management and engineering teams, contributing to the successful delivery of projects from initiation through to completion.

Key responsibilities

1. Assist project managers and engineers with day-to-day project administration and coordination activities

2. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules and progress tracking records

3. Support the organisation and scheduling of project meetings, site visits and client communications

4. Help monitor project timelines, budgets and resource allocation to ensure projects remain on track

5. Conduct research and gather data relevant to project requirements and technical specifications

6. Assist with quality assurance and compliance checks on project deliverables

7. Support the creation and updating of project plans, drawings and technical documentation

8. Liaise with project stakeholders, clients and site teams as directed by senior staff

9. Perform general administrative tasks including filing, data entry and scheduling

What we're looking for

1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in C & S and Mechanical

2. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in English

4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

5. Keen attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping

6. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

7. Willingness to learn and adaptability in a dynamic engineering environment

8. Basic understanding of project management principles and engineering concepts

9. Preferred: Experience or knowledge of project management software or tools such as MS Project, Primavera or AutoCAD
