As an EHS Assistant, you’ll work closely with your assigned EHS team, with the primary focus to support the EHS department in the development and growth of the EHS management system and safety culture.

What you'll be doing

• Assist in maintaining the standard operating procedures (SOP) for operating and maintenance procedures of WWTP in compliance with HSE rules and regulations at all time.
• Conducts minor repairs to equipment and preventive maintenance on treatment plant and wastewater pump in accordance with established schedule.
• Coordinate maintenance tasks with maintenance department for status of repairs and scheduling of work.
• Inspection of workplace at least once a month to ascertain if there is anything prejudicial to the safety and health of person employed.
• Ensures operations are consistent and uninterrupted.
• Assist in development and review safety and health rules, safe systems of works and programmes.
• Any safety reports, safety audits, governments agencies notices and report on pertaining to safety and health at a place of work.
• In charge for the scrubber operational system daily, maintenance and functionality.
• In charge for the performance monitoring of scrubbing system.
• Ensure the compliance of clean air regulation 2015.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field
