Job Description

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide support to team members to produce quality products to our customers by building a system of quality, which ensure each product, meets Emart24 standards and accurately reflects the customer’s order.
  • Solicit customer feedbacks, share feedback with team to improve shop operations and build brand loyalty.
  • Support and recruit customer focused team members maintain adequate staffing levels according to projected sales, properly orient and train team members to exceed customer expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with uniform and appearance standards, establish, and communicate performance expectations and conduct timely and effective performance reviews.
  • Support, coaching and developing team members to ensure entire team is quality and customer focused; and build an atmosphere of teamwork, energy, and fun.
  • Building shop sales through various methods by executing creative local shop marketing plans and creating a positive presence in the community.
  • Ensure food, labour and other controllable costs stay within budget and correct any P&L line-item deviation.
  • Ensure shop always meets safety and security standards; oversee preventative maintenance and repairs when necessary.
  • Offer consultation and recommendations to store managers on overcoming operations challenges
  • Traveling to stores to conduct your duties on-site, visit stores to evaluate operations, cleanliness, and efficiency of each area.
  • Monitor sales and work toward meeting quarterly objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in multi-outlet retail or F&B or convenience store management, with responsibility for store performance and operations.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, including the ability to coach, motivate, and develop Store Managers and frontline teams.
  • Solid understanding of retail operations, including inventory control, merchandising, store standards, and loss prevention.
  • Analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret sales and operational data, identify trends, and implement improvement plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple stores in a fast-paced environment, including regular field visits.
  • Familiarity with retail POS systems and basic proficiency in MS Office or similar tools for reporting and analysis.
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays, based on business needs and store schedules.
  • Valid license and ability to travel frequently within the assigned area around Klang Valley

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
