Responsibilities
Procurement Officer
Key Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and reliability.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Prepare, issue, and follow up on Purchase Orders.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply issues.
Conduct market surveys and identify alternative sourcing options.
Ensure purchased items meet quality, food safety, halal, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with Production, QA, Finance, and Warehouse on material planning.
Support internal and external audits with procurement records.
Implement cost-saving and efficiency initiatives.
Requirements
Minimum Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
2–3 years’ relevant experience in procurement (manufacturing/FMCG preferred).
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Halal, ISO standards is an advantage.
Proficient in ERP/procurement systems and MS Office.
Independent, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia, English (Mandarin is an advantage)
