Responsibilities
About the role
The Purchasing Executive will play a key role in managing the company’s procurement activities to ensure cost efficiency, quality compliance, and timely delivery of goods and services. You will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support daily purchasing operations, improve procurement processes, and identify strategic sourcing opportunities.
Job Descriptions:
Oversee daily purchasing activities to ensure optimal quality, timely delivery and competitive pricing.
Collaborate with a team of executives to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
Plan and execute supplier audits to assess compliance with quality standards and contractual obligations.
Perform a detailed spend analysis to uncover spending trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and highlight areas for improvement in procurement processes.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction through strategic sourcing and develop strategies to achieve yearly savings target.
Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate better pricing and terms while maintaining quality standards.
Examine market trends to forecast price changes and develop strategies to reduce their impact.
Work closely with suppliers to develop sustainable sourcing strategies for alternative materials and services, with the aim of reducing the organization’s carbon footprint.
Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business Studies/Administration/ Engineering/Logistics or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years in related field.
Certified Supply Chain Manager (CSCM), Certified Supply Chain Analyst (CSCA).
Experience in automotive manufacturing, along with a strong understanding of industry-specific procurement challenges, will be an added advantage.
