Responsibilities
Process medication requests submitted by corporate clients accurately and efficiently, ensuring all orders are reviewed, verified, and fulfilled within the established service turnaround time.
Dispense medications in accordance with Ministry of Health (MOH) regulations, professional pharmacy standards, and company dispensing protocols, while maintaining patient safety and medication accuracy.
Review prescriptions and medication requests for completeness, appropriateness, and compliance with regulatory requirements, escalating any discrepancies or concerns when necessary.
Maintain accurate documentation and records of medication dispensing activities and client communications in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Provide high-quality customer service to corporate clients by responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly to ensure patient satisfaction.
Coordinate with healthcare providers, internal departments, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth order processing and timely medication delivery.
Ensure compliance with all applicable MOH regulations, pharmacy practice standards, company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality assurance requirements.
Support departmental initiatives, audits, process improvement activities, and quality management programs to enhance operational efficiency and service excellence.
Maintain confidentiality of patient and client information and adhere to data privacy and information security requirements at all times.
Perform other duties, projects, and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate superior, manager, or company management
Job Specifications:
Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a hospital, healthcare, or pharmacy setting.
Ability to accurately review, interpret, and transcribe prescriptions in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in prescription processing, medication handling, and documentation.
Good understanding of pharmaceutical terminology, medication dispensing processes, and prescription management.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and service turnaround times.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, clients, and cross-functional teams.
Demonstrates a proactive attitude, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and pharmacy-related systems is an added advantage.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and accuracy.
