Job Description

Responsibilities

1. Core Responsibilities

  • Process invoices and payments: Ensure suppliers and vendors are paid on time.
  • Maintain financial records: Update ledgers, databases, and filing systems for easy retrieval.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports: Support accountants in generating monthly/annual statements.
  • Reconcile accounts: Match bank statements with internal records to ensure accuracy.
  • Handle Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR): Track outstanding bills and incoming payments.
  • Verify compliance: Ensure transactions follow hotel policies and financial regulations.

2. Hotel-Specific Duties

  • Monitor daily revenue postings: Cross-check front office and F&B revenue entries.
  • Coordinate with departments: Liaise with purchasing, HR, and operations for expense claims.
  • Support audits: Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Petty cash handling: Record and reconcile small daily expenses.

3. Skills Required

  • Attention to detail: Accuracy in financial data entry.
  • Computer literacy: Proficiency in accounting software and hotel systems
  • Communication skills: Ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
  • Organizational ability: Manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
