Our client in the financial services industry is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to drive automation initiatives, develop scalable testing frameworks and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern automation technologies, CI/CD pipelines and AI-driven testing practices while collaborating closely with development and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in QA Automation
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Behave or Cucumber
• Strong experience designing, developing and maintaining automation frameworks
• Experience integrating automation suites into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Strong expertise in API automation testing using Postman or similar tools
• Experience implementing test data management strategies
• Experience testing real-time systems, trading platforms or event-driven architectures
• Strong understanding of BDD practices, Gherkin design and maintainable step definitions
• Experience in flaky test analysis, debugging and test stabilization
• Experience conducting code reviews and automation script reviews
• Understanding of CI/CD quality gates and automation metrics
• Exposure to AI-driven testing and AI-assisted development workflows is an advantage
• Strong communication, leadership and mentoring skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for project features and user stories
• Design, build and maintain scalable automation frameworks
• Define and enforce automation standards, coding guidelines and BDD best practices
• Integrate and maintain automation suites within CI/CD pipelines
• Drive API test automation and ensure alignment across UI, API and backend validation
• Establish and implement test data management strategies
• Ensure comprehensive cross-layer validation across UI, API and database layers
• Develop flaky test detection and stabilization processes
• Improve automation execution speed, reliability and parallelization strategies
• Implement and evaluate AI-driven testing solutions within CI/CD environments
• Promote AI-augmented quality engineering practices
• Identify quality risks and propose proactive solutions
• Conduct code reviews and automation script reviews
• Mentor team members on automation frameworks and QA best practices
• Maintain and enhance testing documentation, reporting and dashboards
